Hemant Kamat, our CTO, delivered a Keynote Talk on the Texas Instruments MSP430 Microcontroller family and its relevance in current Embedded Systems scenario at the two days Workshop on MSP430 organised by Texas Instruments at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, Karnataka, India on Monday, October 17, 2011.
In his talk, Hemant reviewed the basic concepts of embedded systems, the various components and the varied microprocessors and microcontrollers used in designs. He highlighted the features of the Texas Instruments MSP430 family of 16-bit MCU, their relevance in Energy Harvesting, Smart Metering and Home Automation.
